Dial-A-Ride

Our Handybus and RotherRide services are specifically designed for people who can't use ordinary bus services it offers you the freedom to travel door to door, anywhere within the Rotherham Borough area.
Different book ahead periods and fares apply for Handybus, and RotherRide depending on how far in advance you want to book and the length of your journey:
Standard
You can make a standard booking between 10.00 and 15.00 on the day before travel, to get the lowest Handybus fares.
Advance
If you want the convenience of being able to book further ahead; make regular bookings; or make several bookings together, advance bookings can be made at any time from six months ahead upto 2 days before travel. These cost slightly more than the standard fares for Handybus.
Peak
If you want the flexibility to give less notice than we need for a standard Handybus bookings. you can make a Peak booking for a small extra charge. This allows you to book on the same day of travel subject to giving us at least 2 hours notice. And, except at weekends, you can even book on the evening before, at any time after 15.00.
