| All of our services must be booked ahead, by telephoning our Booking Centre on 01709 517100 or by calling into our Booking Centre at 2 Effingham Square, Rotherham between 09.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday, 10.00 and 15.00 on Saturdays, or by using our online booking centre.
When you call please remember to tell us:
- The times you want to travel
- Your destination
- The time you want to return
- If you will have a companion
- If you will be taking a wheelchair or other aid
- If you need special assistance
Getting Through
You may sometimes have difficulty getting through on the telephone because the line is engaged. A lot of people may be ringing the booking line at the same time; calls are answered in rotation, so if you hear a ringing tone, hold on as your call will soon be answered. However if you hear the engaged tone put your telephone down and redial.
Scheduling
It is our goal to carry as many passengers as we can when taking bookings. This way we can use our limited resources to provide our passengers with as many rides as possible. The more efficient we are, the more rides our passengers can take; the less efficient we are the more people we have to turn away each day.
When you book please be prepared to be flexible, as the ride time offered by our booking staff will be influenced by our need to schedule efficiently.
It is also inportant to realise the every passenger's ride is directly linked to every other passenger's ride. If one passenger is late for their pick up time, then the vehicle could be late for the rest of the day for every other passenger waiting for it.
We aim to arrive within 10 minutes either side of the agreed time for your booking. To avoid delays please be ready 10 minutes before your scheduled pick up time to avoid any last minute rush.
Remember we can only take you to where you have booked for, so please don't ask the driver to deviate from the route. |
